Modern technologies in the dairy sector

In the dairy industry a series of factors determines product quality that arise throughout the entire process of raw material acquisition, through its processing, transport and storage, which is why we invest in modern and innovative solutions enabling us to achieve an end product with the highest possible quality parameters.

Polindus, Laktopol, Laktopol-A, and Laktopol International are the main companies of the Polindus-Laktopol Capital Group. Polindus is the mother company founded in 1989 and the Group’s scope of activity today covers the full production process beginning with the acquisition of raw milk through its initial processing, the manufacturing of end products and their distribution both locally and abroad. The basic products offered by our entities include: skim milk powder, sweet whey powder, and Fat Filled Milk Powder Instant.

Implementing its development strategy, in 2008, Polindus-Laktopol activated one of the world’s largest and most innovative spray drying installations in Suwałki. This investment enabled increasing production in this one plant alone to the level of 200 tonnes of dairy powders per day. The next planned investment is a demineralisation line producing the highest quality whey powder, with a capacity of 200 thousand tonnes per annum.

The high manufacturing standards implemented have enabled the company to be awarded the following certificates: BRC, HACCP, Kosher and Halal. Polindus-Laktopol is today among the top exporters not only on the EU market but also in Asia, both Americas and Africa.
